If oyu have been following the saga of the skirting boards you'll know of all the trouble we have had in getting good quality boards. As we had been promised the final replacement boards (and the fact the bathroom suite hadn't arrived!) we decided to try and get them on the small bedroom. Had borrowed an electric compound mitre saw from a lad at work and we then spent an evening cutting the boards to length. In fact we cut the board for the smaller of the 2 long walls 3 times as we kept getting it wrong by not taking into account the width of the saw blade. Mind you the 2 shorter lengths will be fine for cutting and using elsewhere :D
Of course after all the heartache getting these boards we (OH) didn't want to hammer nails in all over the place so we decided to use grab adhesive instead. This involved constructing a lot of supports to put pressure on until the adhesive cured.

Forgot to take a picture once the supports were removed but its looking good. Makes all the hassle of getting them worthwhile.
